Different type of SCBA reducers, which one you prefer?

We have many types of SCBA reducers according to various kinds of applications, today we will introduce to you one by one.

1. Medium pressure alarm reducer with pressure gauge.

This is a traditional type of SCBA reducer which alarm system works according to the medium pressure. The medium-pressure side — air after it’s regulated down from the high-pressure cylinder (e.g., ~6–10 bar or ~85–145 psi), typically on the way to the demand valve or second stage. Indicates a possible equipment failure, which could lead to air supply disruption even if the cylinder still contains air.

2. High pressure alarm reducer set

This type of reducer set is also a traditional one. The high-pressure side — typically the air cylinder pressure (e.g., 200–300 bar or ~3000–4500 psi). Additional function: could together with HUD and digital alert.

3. Fast refilling type reducer set but also medium alarm system

This type of medium pressure alarm reducer set additional with fast refilling coupler which could support fast refilling to the users’ cylinders without take off the BA cylinder. We also share the picture of the fast refilling hose which connected to the air course cylinders. Some friends asked that why the refilling hose with same adapter of air compressor adapter? There is a special application which the air source is something like the bigger cylinder maybe around 20L or 40L(for example the air truck supply etc.), then we could use this type of refilling hose.

4. Medium pressure alarm system with Quick installation of the BA cylinder set

This type of reducer set is special designed for some fire brigades which need fast refilling and quick installation of BA cylinders. we may seldom see this type in the market due to the special functions. Normally only some tenders request this one.
