- Type: Curve C (suitable for motor starting current surges)
- Function: Provides short-circuit and overload protection; acts as the main power cut-off
2️⃣ Thermal Overload Relay
- Current Setting: 5A
(Rated current of the motor is around 4.2–4.5A, so setting slightly above is ideal) - Installation: Connected below the contactor or within the motor control circuit
- Function: Protects the motor from damage due to prolonged overload
3️⃣ Starting Method
- Type: Direct On Line (DOL) starting
- Usage: Suitable for small motors like 2.2kW; no need for soft starter or star-delta starting
